Help Send a Kid to Camp

Make a difference in the lives of kids this holiday season.

Camp POSTCARD (Peace Officers Striving To Create And Reinforce Dreams) is a free week-long camp designed to empower fifth and sixth grade children from the Black Hills, Wyoming and Montana, with the skills and self-confidence needed to meet the challenges of today’s world.

Each year we work with officers from communities across Montana, Wyoming and Western South Dakota to give more than 250 campers the experience of a lifetime. For many of these children, Camp POSTCARD is their first camp experience and a dream come true. This transformational program has proven to be an important opportunity to build strong relationships and valuable life skills that serve kids, their families and their communities.

Camp POSTCARD builds positive bonds between youth, law enforcement and criminal justice. The experience provides a safe environment that stresses appropriate role models, ideals and values. Campers are encouraged to share their thoughts, feelings and ideas while they learn the importance of self-respect and respect for others, teamwork, self-control and dignity.

Throughout the week long camp a variety of activities help youth build self-esteem, leadership and decision-making skills, at this leadership and empowerment camp.
