Highway Safety

Highway Safety

Volunteers of America's Highway Safety Program provides education assistance to people and communities throughout the state of South Dakota. Safe driving materials are available free-of-charge to support educational programs and community initiatives. Promotion of awareness campaigns and coalition development/support are priority services.

The Highway Safety Program works with teens and young adults as well as communities and safety advocates to address safe driving issues.

Safe driving materials are available through the following:

  • Southeastern Prevention Resource Center
  • Northeastern Prevention Resource Center
  • Western Prevention Resource Center

Resources available include the following:

  • Posters
  • Videos (VHS & DVD)
  • Curriculum
  • Brochures
  • Trainings
